Pinball FX 2 features both online and offline modes, players can play each table in single player where the main goal is to get the highest score possible by activating the bumpers, ramps, spinners and playing through the table specific Game modes such as the Secrets of the Deep tables Galleon exploration. The game was later superseded by the 2017 game Pinball FX3, with players able to import most purchased tables for free (and most Pinball FX2 tables available for purchase).Īll Xbox One and PC versions were later removed from their respective marketplaces on September 2017 (after the release of Pinball FX3), with the Xbox 360 version de-listed on February 2019. ![]() It was also ported to the Xbox One on Augand received a VR-focused PC spin-off, titled Pinball FX2 VR, on November 29, 2016. The game later received two versions for the PC: one distributed through the Windows Store (on October 27, 2012) and one distributed through Steam (on May 10, 2013). Most of these tables are licensed (and none of them are based on real pinball machines), with most tables being adaptations of the Marvel and Star Wars franchises. Although Pinball FX2 itself is free to download, only few versions included complete access to a starter table.Īlong with being able to import all purchased tables from Pinball FX for free, Pinball FX2 received a plethora of new downloadable tables (for a total of 78 tables) between its initial 2010 release date and 2017 (prior to the release of its sequel, Pinball FX3). The sequel to the original Pinball FX (and its PS3 counterpart Zen Pinball), Pinball FX2 introduces an updated physics model, new special effects, split-screen simultaneous multiplayer, a new achievement system, global persistent stats, and timed "trial modes" for each table. its nice to have though when I'm on holiday or something.Pinball FX2 is a free-to-play virtual pinball collection developed by Zen and published digitally by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 on October 27, 2010. I doubt though if I will ever play it often on my tablet. I'm sure it will translate into new skills on FX 2. On a positive note it will teach me how to play without using nudge as I am a prolific nudger on FX 2. ![]() This has been a complaint in the iOS thread for over a year, basically since the release of the game. Don't expect any changes to nudging anytime soon. The only time I would ever consider nudging on my iPad is attempting to do a bangback and only when I don't expect to have a large EOB bonus because an unexpected tilt can easily wipe it out. You have to use slingshot passes or hold passes instead of nudge passes for ball transfers. It makes the game harder, especially because of Zen's love of timed modes. You just have to get used to playing the game without nudging. Because of the high likelihood of outcomes 2 and 3, it is not wise nudge at all. An attempted nudge will either 1) nudge correctly (which is rare) 2) fail to nudge at all 3) tilt with no tilt warnings. Nudging is too unreliable and inconsistent to use regularly for tablets. I have fiddled with the slider a lot but had no success. There is a single sensitivity slider for adjusting nudging. I have played ZP on an iPad 1,2, and 3 and the nudging mechanic is terrible on all three. Nudging can be remapped to the top of the screen on that game. You may be thinking of the Pinball Arcade. Is that not possible for android as well?Nope. I remember reading somewhere that it can be remapped to the top of the screen on Ios. and it hurts my wrists Don't have any confidence in using it because it can just as well not work. Nudging is really ineffective for me with the tablet.
